Ensure the tape length is moderate during case sealing, with consistent front and rear tape remainder lengths. This avoids waste from excessive length or insecure sealing from insufficient length, while preventing tape slack, tangling, or breakage due to improper tension.
Install the tape roll: Smoothly place the tape roll onto the tape shaft of the case sealer, ensuring the correct tape direction (adhesive side facing the sealing position, with the leading end passing through the lower part of the guide).
Check the guide path: Verify that all rollers and guide slots through which the tape passes are free of debris and rotate smoothly to avoid abnormal tension caused by blockages.
Front remainder adjustment: Locate the cutter of the case sealer. Adjusting the blade in the direction of the arrow extends the front remainder, while the reverse operation shortens it.
Rear remainder adjustment: Adjusting the regulating plate beside the cutter in the direction of the arrow extends the rear remainder, while the reverse operation shortens it.
